Meet the Dentists

Kirk Shillinger, DDS
A.K.A. "Doctor Kirk"

Dr. Shillinger was born and raised in Aberdeen, WA. He graduated from the University of Washington and then attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI, earning his DDS degree in 2000. He has been practicing at Dentus since 2007, becoming an owner in 2009 and sole owner in 2021.

He has been married to his wife Sara for 21 years, and together they have 2 daughters- one in college and one in high school.

When not at the office, Dr. Kirk enjoys spending time with his family, watching basketball and football, reading, and taking walks and hikes with his adorable black lab Annie. He also volunteers and serves on the board of the Cascadia Technical Academy Dental Program.

Jacqueline Angell, DDS
A.K.A. "Doctor Angell"

Hello, I’m Dr. Jacqueline Angell! After graduating from the University of Minnesota, I've spent the last 20 years building relationships and providing compassionate care right here at Dentus Dental Center.

For me, dentistry is more than just a profession; it’s a passion for helping people feel confident and comfortable with their smiles.

My years of experience have given me the skills to handle a wide variety of dental needs, from composite fillings and aesthetic smile creation to advanced procedures like oral surgery and dental implants. I am dedicated to thoughtfully addressing every patient's unique situation, whether it's a routine visit or an emergency.

I'm a firm believer in using my skills to serve others, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have volunteered my dental services in communities around the world, including Vietnam and the Dominican Republic. When I'm not in the office, you’ll find me making memories with my three daughters and three grandchildren, or enjoying the serenity of the outdoors through hiking, camping, and exploring the woods.

Christopher Pearce, DDS
A.K.A. "Doctor Pearce"

Dr. Christopher Pearce completed his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota. Dentistry, along with his sense of adventure, has taken Dr. Pearce to multiple countries, including Guatemala and Uganda for volunteer work and clinical training in Bergen, Norway. Prior to joining Dentus in 2021, Dr. Pearce practiced in Bellingham, Washington, and his hometown, Madison, Wisconsin.

Dr. Pearce appreciates that each patient is unique and the best care is accomplished by working together, using evidence-based decision-making. Whether it’s restoring confidence or improving functionality, he takes satisfaction as a dentist from improving the lives of his patients. Dr. Pearce has completed advanced training in implant placement and restoration, including bringing comfort and function to patients who are struggling with dentures. His skillset also includes root canal treatment, and clear aligners (as an alternative to braces). In addition to clinical work, Dr. Pearce leads a dental software company that designs cutting edge technology for dental clinics around the country.

When not at the office, Dr. Pearce enjoys the outdoors, food, and family. He and his wife delight in their two young boys, who provide endless entertainment and joy.
